LAPWD Open House Featuring Scéalta Saoil Writers' Group from Mohill and Women Independently Living in Leitrim (WILL), Action Ability Centre (LAPWD HQ), Station Road, Mohill. Admission by donation.

The Writers’ Group present readings and tellings of stories old and new. Come with a story of your own or come to listen... Light refreshments will be served.

Also launch of WILL exhibition of photographic portraits of women with and without disabilities from north and south of the Border, part of the "Different Views/Viewing Difference"
cross-border project. The portraits will be on show throughout the Festival at the Action Ability Centre.

Guided tour of Lough Rynn Castle & Gardens with John O Driscoll & Fiona Slevin. Join us for an informative & entertaining stroll in a delightful historic setting. Meet in Hotel Car Park at 2.15 pm..

3pm-4.30pm Stories round the Hearth in Canon Donoghue Hall. Come young & old to hear Aideen McBride, Spud & Yam & Pat Speight.  Admission by donation.
 
9pm Storytelling concert in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, near Mohill, featuring our guest tellers, Gian Castello, Kitia Benedetti Kate Corkery, Aideen McBride, Winston Nzinga & Pat Speight. An evening of storytelling, music & song in the luxurious Baronial Hall. Admission €15.    
 
 
Sunday 25th October
10.30-11.30pm

Storytelling Workshop for Children in the Canon Donoghue Hall with Kate Corkery and Winston Nzinga. Suitable for children aged between 9 and 12 to learn some storytelling skills.

Mohill Horse Fair
Third annual Mohill Horse Fair, a revival of the ancient tradition of horse-trading in Mohill. Events all afternoon in the town centre.

 
12noon-1.30pm  

Storyswap in the Canon Donoghue Hall. An open session for adults and children to join us for an opportunity to sit in the ‘hot seat’ and take a turn to tell a story. Admission by donation.

 
2-3pm                        

Stories for the Road: Closing Storytelling Session in the Canon Donoghue Hall. Join us for the final story contributions from our guests. For adults and children. Admission by donation.
