9.30am Storytelling in Mohill Community College with Clare Murphy
3pm Storytelling with Mohill Active Age Group with Clare Murphy, Stanley Robertson, Susie Minto in the LAPD Centre, Mohill
7.00pm Official Opening of Art Exhibition in Hunt Hall, Mohill with Councillor Thomas Mulligan (Wine and Cheese reception)
9pm 2008 Festival Grand Opening Storytelling Concert. An evening of storytelling, music & song in the Hunt Hall. Guests include Clare Murphy, Mick Quinn, Mathew Noone, Pat McGeeney and Stanley Robertson. (Admission Optional)
   
Saturday 25th October
10-11am Storytelling for children aged 5-8 in Mohill Library with Clare Murphy and Mathew Noone
11.30am - 1pm Storytelling for children aged over 8 in Mohill Library with Clare Murphy & Mathew Noone
11am - 1pm

Storytelling Skills Workshop for adults in Hunt Hall. An introductory Workshop with Susie Minto.Open to all interested in learning about the art & skills of storytelling.

11am Storytellers visit Arus Carolan Nursing Home, Mohill
2-6pm Art exhibition in the Hunt Hall Paintings, ceramics & sculptures from local artists will be on sale
2.30-4pm Guided tour of Lough Rynn Castle & Gardens with John O Driscoll & Fiona Slevin.
2.30-4pm Nature tales in the Open Air at Lough Rynn (explore nature with new eyes on an environmental story-walk led by Susie Minto.For children & adults.Meet in Hotel Car Park at 2.15pm
4.30-6pm Stories round the Hearth in Planxty Maguire's.Come young & old to hear Mathew Noone,Clare Murphy,Pat McGeeney.Admission optional
9pm Storytelling Concert in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel (Mulled wine reception followed by an unforgettable evening of storytelling, music, song in the luxurious Baronial Hall.Adm €15
   
Sunday 26th October
11am-12.30pm Storytelling Workshop for Children in Planxty Maguire's with Susie Minto (Come along and learn how to tell stories.Open to children aged 9-14
11am-1pm Ballad Workshop with Stanley Robertson in the Hunt Hall.
12noon Storytellers visit Lakeview Nursing Home, Mohill
12noon Mohill Horse Fair
2-5pm Art Exhibiton in the Hunt Hall.Paintings, ceramics & sculptures from local artists will be on sale.
12-1pm Storytelling in Planxty Maguire's. A family session for all ages (admission optional)
2-3pm Storytelling in Planxty Maguire's.A family session for all ages (admission optional)
7-9pm Children's Storytelling Concert in the Hunt Hall. Students from three local primary schools present a lively programme of traditional stories and those of their own creation. (admission optional)
